i found the building beautiful with lots of character. parking was easy to access. the staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist.
the hot tub was not working. the sauna was also out of order! this information was not communicated to me upon arrival. the room ended up being too warm for my liking.

The room had a coffee machine and warm homemade biscuits upon arrival (a very welcome touch). I appreciated the ample parking available. The hotel has a great bar to meet friends. I found the staff consistently excellent .
The jacuzzi controls were concealed under a panel making operation slightly difficult.

I found easy parking on arrival. the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. i particularly enjoyed the well-kept pool and jacuzzi. The hotel provided robes and flip flops for use in the spa, a very nice touch. i also appreciated the toiletries provided, like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
The breakfast service on my first morning could have been better. I waited a while to be greeted.

the classic double room had everything i needed for a comfortable stay. it included amenities such as a tv, complimentary wifi, and a well-stocked mini-bar. the bed was particularly comfortable, and i had no trouble sleeping.

the historic bar had lots of character. the dining room was lovely with excellent food, it was really tasty! the bedrooms were a good size. i enjoyed lovely walks and a high street nearby.
The hotel was very hot. I switched off the radiator in the room, though i would have loved a bit of fresh air but the bedroom window was locked!

The town centre location was convenient. i enjoyed south downs and local attractions. the hotel location is in beautiful sussex south downs. There are lots of things to do. the location was perfect!

i celebrated a birthday with my wife there. communication was excellent from the start, and i was given a beautiful room at the front. liz and jane, the front of house team, were professional and helpful. dinner was excellent with quality, taste, and presentation all top notch.
i had a late check-in. i left my bags earlier and was told they would be in the room, but they were still in the office (this was a bit inconvenient). the room had been left with the windows closed on a very warm day.

the staff, including sarah and horace, were very attentive and looked after every need. becky always offered a smiling welcome. the service provided by horace and maloc at dinner was especially good and efficient.

the cosy room was bigger than expected (a nice surprise). the room featured a four poster bed ensuring a restful night's sleep. the midhurst rooms are spacious and beautifully laid out creating a relaxing atmosphere.
